Pietro Colucci gives an interview to class CNBC

Recently Pietro Colucci gave an interview during “Caffé Affari”, Class CNBC TV program about financial issues in collaboration with Milano Finanza, talking about present and future projects of Kinexia group.

Mr. Colucci starts the interview with Kinexia’s story: the leader company in green economy decided to get out of the environmental field to enter the renewable energy sector. This two fields are strictly linked and they converge towards an idea of integrated economy, something that differentiate Kinexia from other companies that usually focus the attention on just one activity. The company has been repaid with great results and its model has been exported abroad. This two-sector model was applied also for the fusion to incorporate Sostenya and Waste Italia: Sostenya- at the head of the environmental sector and active in industrial waste disposal-  and Kinexia- listed in the stock exchange and active in the renewable energy sector- through the inverse fusion process had the possibility to get more investors and reach quickly the goals set in the Plan last year.

Pietro Colucci goes on tackling the problems that the group have to face in Italy: the lack of a business model to look at and to follow, the bureaucracy -too slow and complex compared with other countries-, and last but not least the difficulty to get a loan from the banks. For all these reasons the companies prefer to export their own models and move abroad, where green economy is valued and esteemed. Nevertheless, Kinexia  signed an important agreement with a sheik for the sustainable refurbishment of a Sicilian Hotel “La Perla Jonica”, near Catania, a unique project in Italy that provides a total eco-friendly building.

In conclusion, Mr. Colucci presents the projects of expansion abroad undertaken by Kinexia, like the one in China for the sewage disposal, an imperative service considering the exponential growth that the country has experienced in the last few years and the consequent environmental impact deriving from it.

That’s why it is essential to invest in new environmental projects, like the one that aims at the development of a huge totally eco-friendly industrial center, that was possible thanks to a joint venture of the Italian group Kinexia with the Chinese company CECEP– China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group.

Other important joint ventures have started in Turkey for the construction of photovoltaic systems -where the renewable energy sector is emerging-, in Morocco and in the Emirates.
